Peanuts Cafe, Roppongi, Omotesando, Taxi cab, Tokyo, Japan
Various Dates
Tokyo is probably the most visited city in 2018 -2019 for me. I had to make 4 separate trips to Japan alone in a year’s span. On one of the trips, I had thought I’d lost the cutouts, so a lot of the places I visited had gone undocumented. I’ve also decided not to post too many pictures of crowded areas since it’s literally a sea of people in the background.
It’s so convenient to go around with just a credit card. Up until this day I haven’t used any cash while in the country. You can literally pull up where you want to go on your phone, show it to the cab driver and say no more. Uber also works, but it’s more of a premium service, where the cars are required to be above a certain level and the drivers are all required to speak at least basic English. I haven’t had a chance to get on the subway, but I don’t think I’m missing out (I think I’ve had my fair share of subway riding in NYC and Seoul). A note for vegetarians or pescatarians like me — I think it’s REALLY hard to find suitable food since pretty much everything has meat broth in it. I usually opt for onigiri or some rice/fish dishes, but the selection is small. If you’re a sushi fan, that’ll work too. Also, if you’re thinking Park or Grand Hyatt, the answer is ALWAYS (hands down) Park Hyatt.
