My time in Shanghai was mostly trying to stay indoors and prevent getting rained on. July is not a good time to visit, haha. The rain was pouring, so the cutouts only got 2 indoor shots from the visit. The city is so vastly different from Beijing – it’s vibrant and much more lit (for the lack of better term). Much like Beijing, it’s hard to get around in the city – you have to use apps where a translator can realtime translate things for you, or you really have to cling onto your hotel staff and ask to write things down and get every minute detail before venturing out.
