Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, Omaha, NE

I was in Omaha, NE for 4 days to attend an annual summit for work. The schedule was pretty lax towards the end of the summit, so I decided to explore Old Market and the famous Henry Doorly Zoo & Aqaurium on May 14th.
Henry Doorly Zoo is right up there with the world’s top zoo’s like San Diego zoo. The structure is massive and even on a rainy weekday, it had a good flow of visitors at the place. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a place you should visit.
Old Market is a charming downtown area of Omaha, where you can leisurely walk around and soak in the old charm. There’s a lot of cute restaurants, antique shops, cafes, bakeries and galleries you can poke your head into.
Omaha is definitely worth visiting if you’re in the midwest area!
