Jewel, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion, Marina Bay, Singapore, Singapore
August 12 – 14, 16 – 17, 2019
If I could pick a place to live internationally, Singapore is definitely on the top of the list! The city is immaculate, everything is within 30 mins, buildings are beautiful, people are super friendly, there’s SO MUCH greenery all over the place, I really can’t pick a single thing I didn’t like about Singapore (well, except the humidity. But it’s OK, I wasn’t the only one with bad hair :p). I also think the birbs would love to live in Singapore and enjoy the lush tropical climate.
- Jewel Changi Airport: I spent so much time here, the Shiseido Forest Valley is so massive and gorgeous, while the HSBC Rain Vortex is the cherry on the cake.
- Merlion: Half fish, half lion statue opposite of Marina Bay Sands. There’s a lot of people there, but regardless of the crowd you can get decent pictures from various angles
- Gardens by the Bay: HUGE HUGE garden with so many exotic plants, trees, and flowers – this is a must-visit place. If you’ve watched Crazy Rich Asians, you’ll definitely be able to identify this place. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to spot the wild otters too.
- Orchard Road: Cutouts didn’t take a photo here, but an endless row of high-end shops – shopper’s paradise.
Pictures do Singapore no justice. I’ve added some videos of the mentioned places. I still don’t think these short videos do Singapore justice.(Best to see these videos on full screen mode)
